Compared to our first game, this one started on a sluggish note. We were having trouble finding the basket and had a number of defensive lapses as well, which soon led us to be down 10 - 15. Fortunately, by the second quarter, we were able to step up our defensive intensity by a notch and a string of baskets soon got us back into rhythm.

As for our half court offensive, we were unfortunately stunted by a low field goal percentage and even worse free throw shooting. Just like in the game against SAJC, our points again came mostly from layups and breakaway steals off our defensive press.

Overall, the scorelines indicate a convincing victory. However, we are determined to do even better in the next 2 games leading up to the second round!
