We wanted to keep the game close throughout and keep up with the pace of the game for 48 minutes. In the first quarter, we did exactly that, causing a couple of turnovers and converting our fastbreak points.
In the second, we let our guard down and let in easy layups on the defensive end. The half ended 26 17.
At the start of the second half, we continued pressing and also played a zone defense. We forced them to take outside shots but we didnt get enough defensive rebounds, allowing them to have second chance points.
In the last quarter, our defensive intensity increased and we hit a couple of threes. We were within one but could not get any closer, as the Anglican High players hit a three of their own and then a few layups due to our costly turnovers.
We will be facing Jurong next and will give it our all.
