2010 A'Division Basketball 2010

Boys lost to Anderson Junior College in the semis by 2 points, then beat VJC in the 3rd/4th placing match by 13.

Girls beat VJC in the semis, but lost to Hwa Chong by 5 in overtime in the finals.

2010 A'Division Basketball 2010

2nd Round/Quarter-Finals results:

Game 1: RI lost to TJC by 14

Game 2: RI beat ACS(I) by about 40

Game 3: VJC 33 - 51 RI

We started the 2nd Round with a woefully poor showing against TJC, losing by a margin which could have been much worse. A response was called for and it was duly produced against ACS(I), despite their accurate 3-point shooting.

Going into the final game against VJC in need of a win, the team played tremendous inside-outside defense, coupled with great rebounding on both ends of the court, to push for an 18point victory. By far the best team performance of the season, with crucial improvements in both team defense, rebounding and communication.

Semi-Finals will be on 14th May versus Anderson Junior College at SBC, 1330hrs.

PJC 34 - 72 RI

Our last game of the first round ended in a victory with everyone making decent contributions to the scoreline.

Strong 2nd and 3rd quarter performances made up for a poor 1st and 4th, showings which brought up reminders of the game against Jurong JC earlier in the season.
